Lightning fast and crisp with great bokeh

We use it on a crop sensor so I can not testify to any softness in the corners. A great substitute for a 50mm if you have a crop sensor.

"Normal" lens for my D-300
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my "go to" lens on my D-300. The field of view is similar to the normal lens on my old 35mm film camera. I also like that Nikon included the soft case instead of making me purchase it separately.

Great prime lens

Great low light lens

Excellent 35mm lens
