    This is a great lens. Focus is quick and sharp - even better than the stock 18-55 that came with the camera. However for my purposes I would have preferred a longer focal length, at least 300mm.

    Purchased this 55-200 zoom for Nikon dx SLR. Very nicely balanced with camera; greatly expands viable photo range. matches perfectly with Nikon 18-55 zoom currently using. great photo resolution. perfect addition at great sale price !!
