I got this additional lens on a combo offer at Best Buy which is a must for a photographic experience.

No question that in addition to the wide angle sold with the camera, you need a starter zoom lense for kids, sports, wildlife. Nikon lenses are excellent quality.

Haven't used it yet but since I bought it as a package with the camera I saved 50% on the price.

Really good lenses worth the money, returned since I jumped to full frame camera and lenses but is a good and economy option this lenses, sharp and good zoom

I bought this for myself as a birthday present and i absolutely love it. how far i can zoom in and still have incredible detail. really great product!

this is a great lens. I used it for my grandsons high school football games. Takes far away pictures that I can crop and make excellent enlargements.

Great lense if you're looking to take photos from a distance. Would suggest something else if you're an intermediate or professional photographer.

Beginner-this lens was part of a "package" deal. I like the extra photo options that it allows-still learning how to use it all. Easy to use.

As expected of Nikon and Nikkor glass. No corners cut even for DX glass. Nice build quality. Does exactly what I needed.

Smaller than the previous version... functionality is great. Auto-focus works awesome... motor sound is really good.. love the lens.

I am still learning how to use my camera, but from what I've figured out so far, this thing takes great pics with this lens! I've used it for scenic photos of sunset, people in action, & just a few other random pics here & there.

Got it with a bundle. 18-55 and this 55-200 and you have all a beginner photographer needs. Lens takes sharp and focused pictures!

Great tool to have when taking pictures of a distance of 200 feet. I will get more use of it when I use it at the football game.
