    this lens is excellent! only drawback is when you are kicking, it can be a bit much to carry along. You will definitely need to get a bigger camera case.

    Purchased this lens with my Nikon D5300 and I absolutely love it!!! I am still learning how to use my new camera, but so glad I purchased this extra lens with it as it has been great for taking action shots of my kids playing sports. Would 100% recommend!

    The 55-300 telephoto zoom is a worthwhile upgrade over the standard additional lens, the 55-200 tele-zoom, included in the D3300 DSLR bundle. The nominal extra cost left enough in my budget to also cover the cost of a NIKKOR 50mm f1.8 prime lens.
