    I upgraded to this lens and it was certainly worth it. The difference between the 55-200 and the 55-300 is phenomenal. But then again, so is the price. For me it was worth it since I hike the forests and mountains alot.

    I love the auto focus and the distance that this lens gives me. I have another lens that is 55-200 and I was not able to get some pictures I wanted because the lens did not go the distance I needed.
