    Purchased this lens in a kit for my new Nikon D 7000. It is typical Nikkor quality. The housing is heavily plastic, however feels very durable. (These materials have markedly improved over the years). It will autofocus quickly and reliably. While not as fast as a pro level lens, it has been great for even low light shooting for me so far, at a fraction of the cost.

    Pretty standard 300m lens. As with all Nikon lenses you get what you pay for, I have used it to shoot baseball with my 7100 and they turned out better then I expected.
