Lens worked well getting shots of African wildlife

Got lots of beautiful, closeup shots of animals without disturbing them. Worked well in early morning and evening light. The lens was easy to use and carry.

A good zoom lens...

I am amazed with the close-up capability and picture clarity with the lens. Even as an amateur of using DSLR, I would say that the speed of auto focusing could be speedier. BTW, the 55-300mm lens broke (malfunctioning auto focus) within a month, but Bestbuy gave me a replacement. Excellent service!

My new favorite lens

It takes gorgeous photos, much better than I expected for this price point. Perfect for the wildlife and nature photography that I enjoy!
