I am excited to use this new lens. Many people in my camera club own this lens and recommended it to me. After doing a lot of research and checking best buy site I decided to purchase it for my Nikon D5300. I Love it. I had to return the first one due to it would not return back into itself, now that I have this new one watch out because here I come. Thanks Best Buy and others for the great reviews.

This lens works great with my camera! I dropped my other on and it is damaged. It cost too much to even worth being fixed. This was a great price and close location.

If you're getting a new DSLR, you'll want a second lens option than what comes in the box. A long zoom lens like this is a no-brainer if you have kids who play sports or you want to get into nature photography. Nikon gives you a lot for your money with this lens.

I absolutely love this lens. Not only does it zoom in very far away but it also gives a sharp vibrant picture. It also has a vibration reduction switch (you can have it on or off) which helps eliminate any focus problems if you have an unsteady hand. I debated for about a year trying to figure out what lens to get for my Nikon DSLR digital camera. Now that I bought this lens I wish I would've bought it much sooner.

Great lens to compliment my 18-55, gives me plenty of range, nice pictures

As a beginner to the DSLR camera, this lens is easy to use and the pics come out excellent.

The range is excellent and the clarity is fantastic. The f stop range is excellent also.

I try to use this lens whenever possible. It's a great telephoto, and is my current favority. It "produces" excellent quality images and has a great bokeh.

Great lens. Much better than the kit 50-200mm lens that came with the camera. Works great for wildlife. Just make sure to put camera on no flash mode.

This is a great addition to my D5200. The kit lens is 18-55 so you need something else for those long distance close ups. This lens will get you up close and personal. The trade off for being up close is that the pictures lose some of their detail the closer you get. This is normal for lenses in this price range so just temper your expectations. It still produces very good images and similar zooms with much better quality can cost 3 and 4 times as much. I'm not willing to spend a few grand on a lens so this one works just fine for me. I also recommend the 35mm prime lens that BB sells for 200. That one doesn't zoom (the definition of prime) but will produce the best portraits you've ever taken.

Lens has great auto-focus capabilities, but also can easily switch to manual mode for when the auto-focus doesn't do exactly what you would like.

I got this lens for a good deal because I bought it along with a camera body. I have not had any problems with this lens and have enjoyed using it!
