Nikon 300mm telephoto lens

It does need to be fairly bright outside to get sharper pictures of objects that are moving since lower light levels tend to blur if the object is moving. It does very well for objects that are still after sunset lighting.

Awesome zoom for the price

Great lens for d5500

Great addition to my new DSLR camera

Having the VR on the camera is a big help doing some shooting even without bringing a heavy tripod. I cannot wait to fully test the lens' capability weather permitting. Having this addition for my lenses is a great one since now, i will be able to capture distant subjects and retain the crispiness of it. I love it!

Good value for the money

It is not professional grade, nor is it sold as such. If you want more, you are going to pay more - much more. For the casual to enthusiastic photographer it more than fits the bill.
