Have been waiting to purchase this lens. Finally the right time and I love this new additions to my Nikon accessories.

I don't know much about DSLR lenses but I'm glad I got this one for starters, it's great for capturing good exposure.

I wanted a longer Nikon telephoto lens for nature and sports photography without mortgaging the house. This 55-300mm lens fit my needs and budget perfectly. I am now enjoying getting close ups of the many birds at my backyard feeder and cannot wait for better weather to get outdoors more.

I loved this lens. I used it to take my sons graduations pictures. They were better than what the professional photographer took! During the actual ceremony I was able to take some excellent candid shots.

This lens was part of a packaged deal at Best Buy so I got it for $150 cheaper than if I were to have bought it separately, so it was a great value and addition to the lens collection. Got some awesome close-up shots of wildlife using this lens.

This is a great lens for someone who would shoot long distance pictures. Pictures are great quality but never really used by the average user.

This lens will bring sports shots to a professional level. Amazing!

Very pleased with this lenses. Quick to focus and smooth quiet operation. A must have mid-level lenses.

The lens has been great for the photos I am taking right now on my trip to Alaska. Glacier Bay, Vancouver, Anchorage, and now on to Denali. Lens is a bit on the heavy side, but the results are worth the extra weight

Good lens for the money, easy to uses and pictures are clear. Did have some trouble focusing on moving subjects but overall decent lens.

I love this lens! I shoot a lot of action packed events such as lacrosse, baseball, competitve marching band, winter indoor percussion, and winter guard. I can still get great shots indoors with the lens at 300mm and not using flash. I would (and already have) recommended this lens!

I received this lens as a birthday present and couldn't be happier with it. When using auto focus, it focuses very quickly and has taken great pictures. I had previously used Canon products but the Nikon products are far superior. Definitely recommended.

I truly enjoy taking pictures of wildlife and of my family. I wanted a better zoom lens for my camera and I have found the zoom and quality for my pictures with Nikon. Great Job Nikon! The only issue I have with the lens is that it does add weight to my camera or bag on outings.
