Clear photos! Great detail! The lens has smooth movement! Great Nikkor quality.

This lens is a good all around zoom that still allows for a good far off shot with the 55 mm setting while bringing the subject you are shooting in closer with the 300 mm zoom feature. This lens will basically stay on the camera all the time because of its universality.

Haven'e had a lot of time to use it but what I have it produces great pictures.

I did not think this would be something i used a lot, but honestly i find myself using it all the time it is amazing for them photos u cant reach with a 200 lens what a difforence and well worth the price!

I got this along with d5100 during the sale and they are working beautifully.

It is great lens and that too I got with a good combo deal ($$) with D7000 :)

This lens does everything that I want it to do. I am very pleased with it.

At 55mm at the lowest aperture f4.5, I was able to get nice close up shots with a bokeh background effect. At 300mm long exposure distance, I was able to get clear crisp pictures. I love this lens!

I'm not a pro but I do know what I like and don't like in a picture.

Nikon quality is consistent, and this lens is yet another example. I have a Nikon D3200 and use this lens for photographing birds here. I could not ask for a better result...clear, crisp photos.

I had a referral from a friend to buy this lens. Couldn't have asked for better. I used it while overseas and was able to get some pretty good shots with this. I'm not a professional by any means but it worked great for my needs

I bought the new lens to go with my new D5200. The combo works amazing. Took it to Xgames in Aspen and got amazing photos of the Snocross, snowmobile freestyle and long jump. Highly recommend

As I am finally moving from amateur to slightly more advanced photography I find that this lens gives me great ability to capture interesting shots. No disappointment with this lense!

Needed a lens for my D5300 that could have great detailed motion and far away shots. This lens definately did the job! Everyone seems to knock the plastic construction but it seems sturdy. Great Nikon lens for a decent price!
