    Great lens. I was able to take great distant pictures at my daughter's Christmas play. Easy to change the lens on my Nikon D7000. I especially liked the vibration reduction feature.

    I have been taking pictures of my students at baseball and softball games up to 150 feet away. The pictures are so clear and looks like I am only 10 feet away.

    I have some other smaller lenses to take everyday pictures but on soccer games i was unable to get closer to my kid. Telephoto lenses are expensive but the day I got my d7200 best buy has a discount special if I got the camera and a lens, so I bought the 55-300mm. It turns to add more weight to my d7200 but at the end of the day its worth.

    I am new to photography and have found that this lens has become my go to lens. On a recent trip to the wilds of Wisconsin I found that this was the only lens that I used. I an well pleased with the product!

    This lens does great in low light conditions. awesome for taking those shots you just can't get close enough to. I havent had the opportunity to take moon shoots with this yet, but I look forward to.

    While getting a great deal on a Nikon camera, saw this lens on sale as well so I decided to go "all in". Although I have not used it yet, I have great confidence it will work as well as my other Nikon lens.

    While the weight may be "not so great", I'm still just not used to owning a nice camera. I doubt I will consider that a con for very long. I would definitely recommend this lens for novices like myself, since it is easy to use.

    If you're frustrated by being limited in taking distance shots, get this lens. I have seen it for less online elsewhere, though. But I do enjoy getting Rewards Points!

Two outstanding representatives from Best Buy have helped me and are always there to answer questions. . Bob and Shamika... Located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. .
