    Bought the 55-300MM lens for my wife to use on a trip to Alaska, which doesn't begin until the end of July. So, other than getting familiar with how to use it, haven't really had a chance to really put it through its paces.

    this is a great product for those who have children in Softball of Baseball playing in the outfield. Great Action photos. I also used it with some landscaping pictures of the Great Smokey Mountains. Awesome! I love it

    The camera itself is great, especially for a beginner. The only problem I had was the type of lens that it came with. It was for macro (close up shots) photos. I had to purchase a lens for far away photos.

    Works great! Wanted for birding. Great for my collection but need greater distance for what Im shooting. So Best buy costumer advice fail. Zoomed all the way out it is grainy but I may need to adjust the settings on my camera
