    It was an okay lens....but I personally returned it and spent the extra 100 dollars for the nikon 79-300 lens, as the 55-300 was much slower to react!

    If you want a telephoto zoom lens buy it this is really worth the price. Look for bundle offers with Best Buy you could save some great amount.

    We have a 20-200 lense so was excited to get one to go even further for travel with only 1 lense. Tested it out when received for Christmas and found It to difficult to take normal shots around house and with people in a room. Could not take shots without backing up a distance so would not recommend this as an all in one option

    I got this lens on sale and saved $150. It offers a much better telephoto experience then the 55-200mm lens.
