I like to take photographs when I walk on the beach or in nature and this lens allowed me to take better photos of more distant vistas and wild life.Im a very amateur photographer and this addition was easy to use and helped me take better photos.

This was a great addition to the bundled package. Gives an option to taking long distance pictures in lieu of the lens that came with the camera. What a deal!

Great lens for a great price. Clear through out the whole zoom range. Auto focus is smooth and quiet. Compact size does not add lots of weight to setup.

Great for sneaking up on wildlife....or a great alternative to actually walking closer to other things that you wouldn't have to sneak up on if you're just lazy.

Another perfect lens from Nikon. Optical Image stabilization is very helpful. Quality of pictures are awesome.

I wanted a Nikkor zoom lens with 300mm maximum zoom range. This lens is a good value and gives my D7100 the reach it needs when I go to sporting events.

Haven't had a chance to use the lens a lot yet, but practicing a bit showed it should be easy to use and give me so many more options for my photos.

This was my favorite lens due to the zoom. Took it to a lot of vacation spots, which works great to get that zoom for birds, fish, and or landmarks. Kinda long though which takes up a bit more space and hated that the zoom in to only the 55 which kinda sucked for those closer photos.

We got this to use with the Nikon D3300. The lens can be used in an automatic or manual mode, which I really like. Took great shots from far away.

Bought it together with Nikon D7000. Tried a few times when shooting birds in my backyard. Looks good.

I am using this lens with my Nikon d3100. After using the kit lens for years I did some research into telephoto lenses and came across this one. I am so happy with it and the photos looks great. I use for long distance, portraits with a bokeh background and lots of sports photography. Best Buy had it in stock ready and to go and at a great price.

i bought this together with my Nikon camera. It is a long range lens. It take great pictures! If you are going to take pictures of something far and bring it in, this is perfect. This is not a wide lens. I thought this would do that but it does not. I am a beginner and enjoy taking lots of pictures of nature and primarily of my precious daughter.

This is the best combination whith the nikon 3300 camara. You will not believe you took that foto

I have used this lens on both the D3100 and D5100 cameras. I have found the auto-focus to be Faster with a battery grip attached to the camera. It is a great lens and built well.

Was looking for a better lens the standard 55x200 that I had. Something that would let me take pictures up close and personal yet still let me get those across the field shots that let you look to still be up close from a distance. This 55x300mm fit the bill perfectly and for a great price.

Great lens! It should be great when I go to High Plains to watch the Porsche race in a week. An excellent addition to my camera system.

Had been looking at this lens for a while to take photos of my kids at their sporting events. I needed greater zoom capabilities and this was initially out of my budget. Found it elsewhere and BestBuy matched the price. Very happy with the purchase - especially for the lower price.

This lens is great for the shots that are a distance away it does a good job and has great functions auto focus is nice when needed

This lens is amazing! I had my doubts because of the price but it's well worth it! It has allowed me to take some of my best pictures.
