This is a very good lense, especially if you use it to capture wildlife in the outdoors.

This telephoto lens is perfect for indoors and outdoors! I love it. My family was amazed at how perfect the photots turned out.

This is my first telephoto lense, of this size anyway. It is just incredible, very smooth operation and quick focusing. What I didn't know or consider of the 55mm - 300mm, when I purchased the lense I believed I was getting a continuation of the 18mm - 55mm, which it is. But this lense take things to a different level. I feel like I have opened up a treasure box of limitless possibilities.

This is my first long range lens and I'm really happy with it. It take better photos then the lens that came with the camera.

I purchased this lens in a bundle with D5300 and this is a great fit for that camera.Way better than 70-300 and 55-200.

Nice lens for sightseeing. I recently took it on a trip to Washington DC and was surprised on how close I was able to see my subjects. I used the lens all day and after carrying it around it got a little heavy but less than I expected. I am very pleased with the quality and I am looking forward to using it during softball season!

This lens works as expected. I enjoy photography and Nikon has provided me with some great photo's.

My husband bought this for me so I could take eagle photos, been a learning curve but I use my camera and new lens almost on a daily basis. Had to do a little research but I enjoy this lens!

Got this zoom lens as part of a combo package. I'm a novice and it's been fine for my use (general photography).

Purchased this for the wife for Easter. Not great when close to subject. Anywhere from 3 to 300 feet and it's gold.

My wife wanted a zoom lens to add to her camera and has loved the additional photo options with this nice addition.

So far this lens has given us the close ups we needed for our children's performances at school events. We were hesitant at first but the salesman at best buy gave us the run down on how the lens worked and it was a good lens for the price.

You can spend a lot more money to get a professional zoom lens, but this lens does a great job at a reasonable price.

I had a 55-200 Telephoto lens but I needed more reach. Upgraded to 55-300 and it gave the extra zoom I needed.

Great for sideline shots at kids sporting events - gives you ability to zoom in without being on top of the field.

This lens is a great addition to the Nikon D5300. It gets great shots when shooting further than 10 feet away.
