I love this camera simply because I love taking sports pictures and if I am standing on one side of the football field I can see all the way straight across to the opposite side and get the perfect picture...

I purchased the camera to replace another brand that has worked flawlessly for years. Great kit lens Magnificent zoom and case combination It’s a D7000 in a lightweight body, what more could you want?

The lens works well with my Nikon D3100. It does well for outdoor nature shots and indoor long range flash shots. It can even be used for macro shots but has to be used no closer than 3 feet away.

great lens, use it more often than the kit lens; would like it to be a 55-300mm, but still this is my go-to lens so far for almost everything.

I like this lens but don't love it. don't get me wrong it does the job and takes good pictures. It did not have enough zoom for me plus the 55-300mm is a better lens. I returned it and traded up.

This is a perfect companion lens to the 18-55mm Nikon kit lens on the D3200. Gives me the focal length range I most commonly need in two quality lenses that mate perfectly with the D3200.

Nothing is better for a Nikon camera than a Nikkor lens. With the seamless connection of features it's just like having the original lens on the camera. Quality of the photos is superb.

I found this to be an excellent addition to my Nikon d3000. It helps to capture some of the best pictures.

I am brand new with using a DSLR camera. I have only owned my camera for just over 1 month. I have had to learn many things about the camera and its different lenses. I find this lens to be a good addition. I have had no problems with it and am only held back by my lack of experience.

I've had 2 of theses lenses in about a month period. Both lenses broke at the zoom wheel. The lenses were very lightly used and kept in a bag. Maybe about 100 photos on each one before they broke. The image quality and easy of use was good while they worked, but they have to last a little longer. This lens class is very light and feels like they are made from cheap plastic.

This si such a good lens, and it´s worth every penny spent on it. The quality is good and the size is perfect.

The lens is a nice addition to start your photography. It alone costs $249.

I'm not a camera fanatic. I just bought a good camera and needed some zoom action. It works out great.

This lens came with a camera bundle and I love it. I don't use it as much right now, but while testing it out, the pictures were amazing

This is absolutely the ONLY lens I use! It does 99% of everything I need which is really shooting pictures of kids, sports and fast moving objects. No other lens needed if that is what you are shooting. (Will not focus at less than about 6 feet but not a negative in my mind with all of the positives of this lens)

This is a great medium zoom lens, however compared to other Nikkor lenses the colors are slightly washed out, but still better than most other lenses.

love this lens, it is great for far away shots. I have even used it for some close up shots... love this

Good speed, good image quality. Even came with the protective sleeve.

Okay, it is a little expensive (if you are a beginner SLR user), but you get what you pay for. This is a great lens that gives wonderful pictures -- and it is a must for the Nikon D3100 as the stock lens just doesn't give you the versatility needed.
