||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went thru 4 copies of this lens and only 4th copy was ok enough. All of them were sharp around 5-10 yards distance, but soft at infinity. The 4th copy also slightly soft, but not as bad as the first 3. Anyway goes to Nikon to adjustments. Checked with Nikon D850 and D500 cameras. I don't expect fom $1500 lens made in China to be as good as 10k lenses made in Japan, but definitely not as it is. It's good lens for the price, but you have to check every copy very carefully. Apple also has manufacturing in China, but their quality control works, not as Nikon's. Nikon, you should be ashamed!
