    THIS IS A GREAT LENS, IN FACT HAS BEEN A WORKHORSE FOR MANY YEARS. BUT THE NEW 24-70E VR IS OUT NOW. FOR THE MONEY ITS A GOOD PURCHASE. IF YOU CAN AFFORD, GO GET THE NEW VR VERSION.

    I have finally drop the funds ($1787) on sale and got something I have been wanting to add to may camera bag. All I can say is Wow! I took this lens out of the box and placed it on my D300s and D750. The pictures are Sharp, Sharp and Super Sharp. I can't believe I've waited this long to buy this lens. For those who are serious, save your money and buy it. You will not regret it. Next up is the Nikon 14-24mm F/2.8
