Bought the 50mm and considered returning until the young man at BEST BUY assisted me with the lens during one of the Saturday classes. Not super excited about the lens but that is because I am learning how to manage the settings on the camera.

Very, very good lens

It produces very, very good pics. I'm still learning it's capability but know enough to recommend it. If useful, I use it with my Nikon D-5000.
