This has most certainly elevated my picture to another level. Still working on my composition but I’ve been able to capture some magnificent shots with this lens so far.

I have been wanting to upgrade from the kit lens that came with Nikon D7100 (which I really like). This lens does exactly what I was after. It has met my expectations.

Great lens and addition to my d3200 Nikon. Perfect for portraits. Easy to use, fantastic bokeh.

If you only have obne lens then this shoukld bve your coice. For me its been grreat for portraits, exterior shots, and online product images with the 1.8 exposure rating, perfect for low light.

I would recommend to all my camera len to all my family and church friends who would be looking for a camera Len to replaced their long range len for short distance with super accuracy with a clear as bell picture.

The Nikon 50mm 1.8G is a fast lens and can be used for low light photography. It has no distortion or no recognizable vignetting. A superb lens, I carry it on my any type of photography.

This was the lens that I was looking for. It was in a price that was in my budget. Takes great pictures. This lens is excellent quality.

I bought this lens for my wife before we went to Maui. All I can say is, the stock lens’ are trash compared to this one. We use this lens 90% of the time. Even if it was $300.00 it would be worth it.

I will recommend this lens for anyone that has a cheap budget and is wanting to take portraits. I have used this lens for wedding engagements and a few other kind of photo shoots. It takes amazing and clear images, it's a must have lens.

For starters, I like the simplistic aesthetics of this lens. Focus ring is in the right spot and only one switch. Images are amazingly sharp. Focus is extremely fast. At this price, everyone should own this lens.

I've been looking to buy this lens for a while and it was certainly worth the wait for it to come back in stock. I've gotten incredible pictures from it and it's actually my lens of choice now. Extra plus is that it's super compact and light.

Perfect lens for capturing action/motion. Use this lens to capture sons cross country meets and basketball games. Pictures provide a crisp focal picture with s sense of motion in the background. Love it!!

I love this lens. It is super sharp. I was using it with a nikon d7500 and it's stunning. Now I have a Z7 that works because of the adapter and it's even better.

Excellent lens. Price point was comparable to other places, but the potential of returning it to Best Buy if there was a problem made this an ideal purchase.

I use this lens for portrait and landscape shots. This lens does a great job getting that background blur and keeping the ISO low. Good price and great clear pictures.

If you bought the Nikon D5500 kit with the 18-55mm lens you really need this unless you need the faster f-stop which gives a shallow depth of field for that perfect portrait. If so, yes I recommend this

Wasn’t sure at first if I would like it but I’m learning it’s purpose and having fun with it. Takes some getting used to coming for the kit lens lol.

I am a beginning amateur photographer and was looking to get a good portrait lens - this definitely fit the bill! Love the bokeh, glad I didn't pay for a super expensive lens as this does everything I need.

A friend told me about this lens and let me borrow theirs. I was hooked after using it. The bokeh effect in the background is great. I use it with my Nikon D3400. I will get a lot of use with this lens.
