Light weight Good price Focuses great Awesome perspective Close feel

I bought this after attending a little photography boot camp. I wish I started out wotht this hand and conveniently small lens. Great depth of field and perfect for individual portraits or groups!

Great prime lens. Was using 18-140 mm lens but this is a 50 mm but has a wider aperture ( smaller f stop). Does a great job for the price paid.

I am still learning the art of photography and this lens has worked out great. I am using the lens on my Nikon D500 so it’s a 75mm equivalents. My next lens will be a wider lens than this one.

I love this lens with my Nikon D3300. I've taken some truly excellent pictures with this combination and haven't touched my kit lenses since I bought it!

The lens is light and my pics are very sharp and clean. This lens should be in every Nikon bag. It tends to make me compose my shots better than when I'm using a zoom lens. Buy this... you won't regret it.

I love this lens and personally think every aspiring photographer should have one. Amazing, clear photographs and you don't have to be crazy close to your subject which, for me, is really nice.

I have multiple prime lenses and really like this one the best for portraits. Its a must have for anyone getting into photography and it keeps you from being a lazy photographer relying on zoom.

Good for portrait Photo and background blur. I like photo with background blur and I always love this prime lenses over my any other lenses. Only I drawback is that lenses is not VR lenses but again with its price its great since to get VR lenses with the aperture you would have to pay much more. You tripod to avoid subject blur.
