    The picture quality on this lens is just phenomenal. The only issue is that on a Non-full frame DSLR it's a bit long.

    This lens is okay but even shooting wide open it doesn't have the bokah needed for professional quality prints. The sharpness is fine stopped down around f4 to f5.6 but a little soft below that. I'd recommend spending the extra money on the 1.4g version.
