A friend told me about this lens and let me borrow theirs. I was hooked after using it. The bokeh effect in the background is great. I use it with my Nikon D3400. I will get a lot of use with this lens.

I regret waiting to get this lens. It focuses quickly and quietly. I use it more and more because it works in so many situations. If you're looking for an affordable prime lens, this definitely fits the bill.

Wasn’t sure at first if I would like it but I’m learning it’s purpose and having fun with it. Takes some getting used to coming for the kit lens lol.

This lens is a nice lens - as an amateur photographer just getting into my photography business, I am hesitant to invest in expensive equipment as I am not sure where this is headed. With the F1.8 I can shoot in low lighting for clear and beautiful pictures. If you're interested in concert photography this is a great lens for a decent price.

Nikon - AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G is Perfect for Portrait pictures. No Zoom but that will not stop you taking great portrait pictures especially in low light.

The lens is amazing! It took a few weeks for me to decide on this 50mm 1.8g over the 50mm 1.4g. It's half a stop slower but it's sharper and half the price. The build is impressive and just soo sharp. Love it!

This is very nice lens for amature photographers with nikon SLR. I Had a great buying experience at Best Buy. I found same item online at lower price and associate at Best Buy offered price match. Best deal i could get.

This lens is a great fit for my Nikon camera. The quality is superb and focusing is easy. This lens is slightly better than the one that originally came with my Nikon.
