This lens has become my go to lens for just about everything. Great for portraits. You get a great bokeh effect with a brilliantly blurred background. This lens also teaches you how to position yourself properly with the stationary zoom. A must have for all photographers.

I use this super fast lens for just about everything. It's on my nikon D7200 90% of the time. I also used it on my D3300. Super crisp images.

This lens is perfect for a crop sensor camera! With the crop factor, this lens acts like a 75mm lens which is perfect for portraits. Would recommend shooting at F:4 or lower for tack sharp photos
