    Great product. Cheaper than f1.4

Great lens for beginners. It is cheaper than f1.4 and produces quality photos. Nice for bokeh. 50mm might be too close for indoors. Another alternative would be a 35mm which is perfect for dx cameras.

Great as a standard all purpose lens the low f stop is great for low light pictures, works great with the D32000. Comes with a hood and case.

Excellent lens for portrait work. The f/1.8 allows great background blurring and the 50mm glass just sucks in the light, allowing low light-level shots without flash.

I took the plunge and bought this lens when I saw it on sale. It's a great lens for portraits, and the 1.8 aperture makes it a great lens to take almost everywhere!

best 50mm for the buck, crazy sharp, 1.8 is good for low light and to use for a shallow DoF and in my oppinion is the best lens to start with for a DX body, so you learn how to possition your self.

I have to say one of the best portrait lens for the money. f1.8 does the job you could get the f1.4 lens for dbl the money. Trust me this lens gets the job done.
