Perfect Lens for Full Frame Sensors

The following is the perfect indoor lens for full frame DSLR cameras however if you have a DX series camera a 50mm actually is greater on a cropped sensor. So if your looking to use this on a DX series only expect a head/partial shoulder view indoors and nothing more. DX users should consider the 35mm 1.8 instead. However not to detract from the lens itself, it's quality built, fast auto focus/manual override, and superior image quality and bokah. I would highly recommend shall the range meet your personal needs.

I went to the BestBuy at least 3 times before buying this lens. I had purchased the 50mm a few weeks before and the 35mm was in the back of my mind after the purchase. I would go to the store and look at it but talked myself out of it multiple times. I was hired to shoot a local store and when I got there I found that the space was limited and I just couldn't get the shot I wanted. So the 35mm popped into my head and I went and purchased it. The lens worked perfectly. It produces fantastic pictures in tight areas. Glad I did it

After watching alot of reviews and researching this lens once I took my first few images I was blown away at the quality of the images and know why all the pros were saying this is a Nikon must have lens. The detail in close up portraits or anything for that matter within the 50mm focal length is truly stunning. If you are looking for a point, focus, capture lens then this one is it!!

i am in love with this lens. I have been using it on a N7200 DX body and it is superb. I just recent picked up a Nikon 850 FX this lens is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. although its half the price of the f/1.4 most reviews say its the better lens. I havent tried the other. This is beautiful for street photography and for portraits
