A "Must Have" Lens
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own a Nikon full frame with F mount, or a Z Mount with adapter, you need this lens. Read reviews here and everywhere, the image quality is off the charts. This is probably the best bargain OEM lens you can buy. The other benefit is learning to shoot with a prime will make you a better photographer. Bottom line is even a hack like me can get professional looking images with this 50mm f1.8G lens.

Great prime Len for a crop sensor camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was back and forth between this one and the 1.4 A version the is more than twice the price . After reading countless articles I realized that for the dollar difference the 1.4 version wasn't worth the money for my uses . Taking pictures with this lens is great ! The focus is fast , the lens is light weight ,and the low light no flash performance is wonderful! This lens gets used more than my others .

Sharp lens built for success.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just recently purchased the 50mm 1.8G lens and immediately put it to work. The packaging of the lens is rugged enough to prevent any issues from happening. I admire the included lens hood and bag as it saves money when having to purchase those items at a later time. The durability of the lens is fantastic all the way down to the quality of the images it help produces. Pair this device with the full frame Nikon d750 and you're set for some beautiful photos.

Great Budget Prime Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have read up on many people loving prime 50mm lenses for their tack sharpness and excellent lowlight capabilities. I use this on my current D7200 for portraits as well as my old D3300 and works flawless on both. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I got it before it went on sale, so at this price point it is a must have for beginners, or enthusiasts.

Great, versatile fixed focal length lens.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanting a nifty-fifty lease for a long time. I finally bought one that I can use with my APS sensor digital camera and also with an old Nikon film camera. It is solidly built for a budget lens and has good quality optics. It has taken me back to my old days of shooting and composing with a fixed lens. Many pros comment on the lens' quality and I concur.

Great starting lens.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just needed a lens for the D7500 I purchased. It was the standard lens I learned with my old Nikon D50. So familiar with it. Excellent lens to start with. Will up grade to a telephoto zoom soon.

Great Lens For Nikon Users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Nikon camera on New Year's Eve so that I could deduct some of it off my taxes for my photography business. In the past, I've used Canon and Fuji cameras (I did have a Nikon D40 for a short time), so when I purchased the Nikon D750 I didn't have any lenses to go with it, That's why I purchased the 50 mm. It has a fast 1.8 aperture so you can get the subject in focus and a nice blurry background and foreground. Overall, it's a great lens for the price.
