Awesome lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's start off by I'm a beginner at photography. But I'm the type that wants the best of the best. All of my buddies told me to get the better graded lens but I figured I'll give this a chance since the sales person said its not a huge difference for what I would be using it for (pictures of my kids). And I chanced it the day before my son's birthday party and I was so surprised of the quality. I highly recommend this lens for beginners and pros.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome lens - great with my d5300 - the 1.4 was available for 200 dollars more but the 1.8 was good enough for me.

Great Lens!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For landscapes and bigger portrait shots, this is the lens to get! Took amazing pictures at Yosemite and other California parks with it. 10/10 product from Nikon, and the autofocus is a DREAM. Buttery smooth and high quality parts.

Great Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my eye on this lens for a few months. I finally gave in to it and picked it up. It takes very sharp pictures. I do a lot of outdoor nature and landscape photography though I'm still very amateur. The aperture range is perfect for what I'm using it for. I also intend to do my son's senior pictures and I think this lens will help me get great shots.

Great lens
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m beginning photography and I decided to get this lens for my Nikon D5600. I can honestly say that it takes great portraits!! I don’t even know if I’m using it correctly or even to it’s best capabilities but just from what I’ve seen it’s amazing. I gave 5 stars because I’m sure I’m not using it to its full potential and I like it a lot so image what it’s fully capable of

Sharp for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a pretty sharp lens for the price. It does occasionally miss auto focus. It's a very light and rather small lens. I own a 35mm Tamron that is better build quality and larger glass than this. It's not a bad purchase for the price though
