If you only have obne lens then this shoukld bve your coice. For me its been grreat for portraits, exterior shots, and online product images with the 1.8 exposure rating, perfect for low light.

The nifty fifty is an essential tool for every DSLR photographer, with excellent image quality and fast speed at an extraordinary price. Some may go for it's more expensive sibling the f1.4, but for most folks this lens will more than fit the bill.

The Nikon 50mm 1.8G is a fast lens and can be used for low light photography. It has no distortion or no recognizable vignetting. A superb lens, I carry it on my any type of photography.

I love this lens. It is super sharp. I was using it with a nikon d7500 and it's stunning. Now I have a Z7 that works because of the adapter and it's even better.

Excellent lens. Price point was comparable to other places, but the potential of returning it to Best Buy if there was a problem made this an ideal purchase.

I use this lens for portrait and landscape shots. This lens does a great job getting that background blur and keeping the ISO low. Good price and great clear pictures.

You can’t go wrong upgrading from a non assisted stock lens to the “nifty 50m.” Great buy, understand this lens does not zoom at all, but great quality.

Great first prime lens to get and produces amazing bokeh!

Perfect lens for capturing action/motion. Use this lens to capture sons cross country meets and basketball games. Pictures provide a crisp focal picture with s sense of motion in the background. Love it!!

For starters, I like the simplistic aesthetics of this lens. Focus ring is in the right spot and only one switch. Images are amazingly sharp. Focus is extremely fast. At this price, everyone should own this lens.

I will recommend this lens for anyone that has a cheap budget and is wanting to take portraits. I have used this lens for wedding engagements and a few other kind of photo shoots. It takes amazing and clear images, it's a must have lens.

I've been looking to buy this lens for a while and it was certainly worth the wait for it to come back in stock. I've gotten incredible pictures from it and it's actually my lens of choice now. Extra plus is that it's super compact and light.
