Great lense but Best Buy would not price match another stores price. The differenc was significant but I wanna stay loyal to Best Buy and this has made me re-think my loyalty!

Good Prime Lens for the price. No need to spend extra dollars on the 1.4 version. I have the previous version before this one came out.

I am a beginner on photography, however, I really like this lens. I've been able to take great pictures with little experience on photography. I would recommend it.

I bought this because I read online that a 50mm was a must have for a DSLR. I've tinkered with it a few times and I love the results I got, so far.

Nikon is releasing some great lenses with wonderful optics at reasonable pricing. This and the 85mm 1.8G are hard to beat! You won't be sorry.

Gives a great alternative picture. I've not tried the 1.4, but this 1.8 does a great job. I've enjoyed the depth of field control. I use this on my D7100 with a SB-600.

So, you're done messing with the kit lenses? Step it up and buy this prime lens! Or the 35mm if you have a non-full-frame camera. It's totally worth it.

Everyone should have a 35mm and 50mm lens in their bag. This lens is fast, quiet, and 1.8 is big enough for just about anyone. This lens takes great pictures. Very happy with it.

This is an excellent price for a zoom lens. You can a higher end zoom lens but pay a lot more. Good for beginners and intermediate professional photographers.
