Great normal lens

Versatile

Excellent for mid-range architectural shots, portraits, and shallow depth of field. FYI, you will need to move your feet to get the shot - no zoom. Awesome bokeh. I can't see spending the extra cach for .4 f-stop.

After watching several videos to see if this was the lens for me, I bought it. I thought the quality and the sharpness would be better. But the depth effect is great. You can take beautiful pictures that you obviously can not take with a kit lens.
