Very Nice Lense

This lens with the auto focus works great on close-ups with my Nikon camera. I have been getting great pictures, and I'm extremely happy with this new addition to my lenses. I highly recommend this lense!

You won’t regret it!

This lens is a deal breaker. My first prime lens and it’s blowing me away!

Cheap, lightweight lens

Excellent prime lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nikkor 50mm 1.8g makes a fantastic portrait lens for the Nikon DX (crop sensor) sized dSLRs. My family portraits taken at Christmas were incredible!! (crop sensor on Nikkon DX is 1.5 times the focal length, making this 50mm lens X 1.5 = a 75mm f1.8)

Cute strong lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The focus ring is a bit wider than the one on the lens it replaces, and is actually quite smooth for a Nikon AF-S lens. Near to far focus happens in about a quarter rotation of the ring. No complaints here.
