This lens is a deal breaker. My first prime lens and it’s blowing me away!

Very Nice Lense

This lens with the auto focus works great on close-ups with my Nikon camera. I have been getting great pictures, and I'm extremely happy with this new addition to my lenses. I highly recommend this lense!

Cheap, lightweight lens

Excellent prime lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nikkor 50mm 1.8g makes a fantastic portrait lens for the Nikon DX (crop sensor) sized dSLRs. My family portraits taken at Christmas were incredible!! (crop sensor on Nikkon DX is 1.5 times the focal length, making this 50mm lens X 1.5 = a 75mm f1.8)

Cute strong lens

Near to far focus happens in about a quarter rotation of the ring. No complaints here.

Fast, sharp, great lens

I’ll be upgrading to a FX body and wanted to make sure the lenses I got now would work with it as well.
