Overall the lens does the work for you. All you really have to do is point shoot. As I learn how to use other features the quality should improve.

I use this reference lens as my daily driver on my Nikon D7100 and I have to say that I haven't been disappointed one bit! The clarity is excellent and the auto focus helps keep the Nikon ready at all times. I am really glad that I sprung for this.

Bought this lens for my daughter for Christmas. She is beginning doing photography for her friends.. and others. I hope this will be a nice addition to her camera , and help make her photography even better.

This lens when paired with an FX Nikon camera, generates a photographic art with the created images. It's also great with its low-light capabilities. I'm waiting for the perfect night thunderstorm event to capture with this system!

Great way to start the prime lens collection to use with the z series

A workhorse, great for everything from portraits to groups. It is very inexpensive for the quality it is one of my favorite lenses, and it hardly ever comes off my camera.

My wife had just the standard lens that came with her D5100. She has been wanting a lens to start to dabble in macro shots and this has worked perfectly. We used it all Christmas and New Years and it was great. Price was good and it adds to her previous lens very well.

Have been looking for fixed lens for taking portraits. There are better ones out there of course but for this price it couldnt be beat.

Good glass. Clear. Slow focus, but accurate. Light weight, plastic like, but seems durable.

This lens is great. Nice and sharp. I take a lot of car photos and its perfect. The Only thing is the autofocus is very noticeable. But for the price, it’s an amazing value.

The lens fits a Nikon 3200. With this lens I was able to improve the quality of my photos.

The 50 1.8 really should be the first lens you but with a new crop sensor dslr. Great portrait lens with little to no distortion.

This lens completes the package of my new DSLR. Between the standard lens and zoom that came with it, this 50mm standard lens lets me take awesome up-close shots. Best Buy was the only place locally that I could find and had a very competitive price.

I love this new lense. I wanted a 50mm lense from Nikon for awhile and now that I got one my photos and videos haven’t looked better. I was using a kit lense and this is a huge step up from what I was using and I love it.

As a newbie to photography I was in search of a few lenses that would allow me to grow into my new hobby. My experience with this lens to date has been nothing short of amazing.

This camera is really great. I love the Bokeh it produces, and the image blurr when shooting portraits. I must say, the price is not too bad for this lens. The only downside is, this lens is hard to use in indoors if your trying to shoot group portraits.
