    Took some pics of my daughter over the weekend with the lens and I have to say it was a excellent photo shoot using the lens especially on the close ups.

    I recommend this for part of any Start Up arsenal for people getting into Photography. This covers an array of scenarios in which the standard lens that comes with your SLR or Mirrorless Camera is not well suited for.

    I bought it so I could get clearer photos than I can with my kit zoom lens. Photos are noticeably better, though not as much as I would have liked, and I would have kept the lens for that. But the mount was very tight. It felt like it was grinding when locking it into place. For that reason, I had to return it. I did not want to take the chance it would damage my camera body. For the record, all advertised features performed properly with my D3200.

    This lens is great it was exactly what I needed for a macro I know it's only a 1.8 but for the price it was better then spending the $500 for the 1.4.
