Did research on the different lens and found this works well. I am planning on taking this lens with my on my trip to Costa Rica. I would recommend this lens.

Excellent for portraits

Well Structured lens

Great for macro and portraits. Dual purpose lens. Solid metal construction. Nano Crystal coating an added plus. Can't wait to get more time on it.

Sharp Lens

Great macro lens

Great lens

My only complaint, and it's just entirely based on my personal preferences and shouldn't really matter what you think, was the weight. Which in retrospect, wasn't super heavy but if I'm carrying this thing around all day I'm going to get tired. Vr is great on this lens, I never had it before on prior lens so that was a great feature. Image quality is outstanding. Great for macro or portrait.
