Nice lens for a variety of shot types and ranges

The lens has taken some nice shots of our boys playing sports (football etc.). Multiple settings for advanced users makes this a great choice. The VR function is really nice when handling the camera and taking pictures.

There are better options
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is second copy of this lens that I had to return. About 50% of my pictures were out of focus. The Nikon 70-300 or the Tamron 70-300 are better options.
