Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the exceptional image quality and impressive zoom capabilities of the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED Telephoto Zoom Lens. Many also praise its ease of use and effective vibration reduction. However, some users note that the lens is somewhat heavy and its performance can be affected in low-light conditions. A few also mention that the price point may be a consideration for some buyers.

Not enough use as of now to make a good review. A questioning of my satisfaction is premature.

You can't blow out the background with this lens. It is horrible....add some money and get the fixed F2. I took mine back, it's not worth the 300 bucks. Sigma’s APO 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG Macro HSM is for any serious photographer where the 70-200mm focal range is often the most important second lens to own after the initial standards lens or mid range zoom.
