This camera takes such amazing photos! I was having fun playing around with the features on the camera and took it on a vacation to the Oregon Coast. The pictures came out better than I expected!

Greater megapixel, better stabilization for videos

Downfall of this camera is no photo burst shooting and it takes a while to take multiple photos, too long of a wait time.

I checked it out at my local Best Buy store and a employee showed me the cool features it had and that pretty much sold me. It was around the price I was looking for since I was on a tight budget.

I was looking to invest in a camera that was easier to transport on small vacations. So far I am extremely please with this camera, it does take a while to connect to WiFi to upload pics

got this for our office for low light pics. works well. this is my third one...the staff keep dropping them.

Although during the 2 week learning period it functioned fine, I found that the location of the picture taking button was not intuitive as it was too far away from the side of the camera for easy use - the camera mode button interfered with logical use. Then, on the first day of our cruise, two weeks after purchase, the power on button quit. It simply would no longer work and when calling Nikons tech support did not resolve the issue and they asked that it be sent in for repair (postage prepaid too.)

Only had camera a month so I haven't put it through all the places but it has worked extremely well up to now

I have not tried it yet, I purchased to take it out of the country with me, where a larger camera could create extra attention. I will know very soon.

This handy little camera takes great pictures, but the sound is not good. It is a great pocket size for pulling out for concerts and other events, but the sound is awful. I was really hoping for great sound but was greatly disappointed.

I use mine daily and has very good photo's. It is one of the best camera's that I've used lately. I take over 300 photo's a week.

I purchased the item from Best Buy but later it started giving minor issues within the first month itself. Not very happy with the product.

I bought this camera for recent trips to Italy and to China because I didn't want to lug around my heavy digital SLR. I found the Nikon Coolpix S7000 takes fabulous photos that rival my SLR, and it is easy to carry in your purse or pocket. Dim lighting seemed sometimes to be a slight challenge but adjusting the setting worked well. Highly recommend..

Bought this camera to supplement my phone for a two-week Alaskan trip. Very steady shot, clear pictures, great zoom. I couldn't be more pleased with this camera.

I chose the camera first because it was a Nikon, and 2nd because of how easy it was to use.

The camera takes exceptional pictures, but the recording of a video feature is complicated

It takes good quality of pictures and videos. It's convenient to take photos on the trips.

I was looking for an easy to use camera that worked well in low light conditions as I take many pictures indoors.
