When zooming in at the highest range, the camera really needs a tripod. Was very disappointed when trying to zoom in on a spotted white owl at the home next door.

Not nearly as good as the Nikon 6800. Zoom is poor in any capacity--photos or videos. Video does not stay in focus when zooming in and out like it does with the 6800. Poor battery life. Overall, not recommended. With the 6800 I received a case and camera card...nothing was included with this one!

Camera takes horrible dusk and night photos. Indoor is tricky as well. Look elsewhere if you want a good camera.

I read alot of reviews prior to purchasing this camera and thought I would be buying a camera that would take decent quality pictures when using the auto function but still have enough options to adjust for better quality. I have yet to find any setting that takes an acceptable picture. On auto or scene selector all pictures are over processed, poor lighting (iso not correct) blurry or grainy. I took it on vacation with me & wound up using my phone to take all my photos instead. I would not recommend this camera to anyone accept a child to play with.

I bought this camera in June in anticipation of a trip, but I was familiar with the basic functions so I did not try it out for several weeks. When I did, I found that the camera was non-operational. I tried to exchange it at Best Buy but it was beyond their 2-week return policy, so I had to deal with Nikon directly. Nikon had me send it to them, at my expense, for repair. This was an added expense and a nuisance. I was disappointed in both Best Buy and Nikon.

This camera is great to take on travels, events, and just on your regular day. It takes clear pictures, and is very compact that you can put it in your purse and take with you everywhere. The only issue I have with it - from time to time it freezes, and nothing helps until I take battery out and put it back in. I am going to take it to the store and see if that is something they can fix.

Needed a new point and shoot for the holidays

The camera is good, compact and somewhat easy to use. I had to go to the Nikon website to get a more detailed instruction book on how to change the scenes . It is good when set to auto. The video function is also good. I thought the wi-fi would be neat but is kind of lame. I mis-understood what it does and sending the photos to my cell phone with the free app and then sending out was not really a function I will use much.

I have not been able to get back to Best Buy to return this camera. I tried multiple settings and if anyone in the frame made the slightest movement the picture had blurry sections if not the entire picture. Way too much to pay for a camera that only takes posed portraits.

I purchased this camera to accompany my Nikon DLSR to take on vacations and other places. At first I thought it was of good quality according to the reviews. This camera is garbage!!!!! The focus is bad and pictures come out dark when the flash is used. Also, the video is grainy and of poor quality. I figured I could adjust the camera to my liking and that was not the case. I recently returned it and got a gift card for the purchase amount.
