I recently just got this camera and has an incredible zoom and the camera is HD .

We bought two other camera from different manufacturers and returned them. This camera has the best of everything, zoom, focus and easy. Other cameras would not allow you to force the flash on. This one does.

Camera is small enough to put in pocket but takes great pictures. The zoom is very good. The only issue is it is difficult to use wifi to download the pictures and instructions are not very good.

Needed a small camera that can easily fit in my pocket and I can use to take HD Video. I have a semi-pro camera but it can be bulky. I was surprised at how small the camera was. Very light but sturdy. Usual Nikon build quality and the picture quality is outstanding. Great camera at a great price

Worse camera I ever bought. We bought the camera because we wanted a really good camera for our trip to China. First time I used it, it worked fine. Second time I noticed a spot appearing on the picture when the camera was using a long range zoom. The time third time there was a spot even when the camera first was turned on without using the zoom at all. Forth time there was floating line through the picture that if you knocked the camera and then zoomed in and out you could get the camera to focus. (I know that seems extreme but we left our iPhone at the hotel and we wanted pictures.) Fifth time we used the camera we couldn’t get it to focus but fortunately we were able to get back to the hotel and we used the iPhone camera for the rest of the trip. I want to clarify I did not buy this camera through Best Buy but at Bic Camera in Japan. When I brought the camera back to Bic to be fixed they wanted to charge me $120 for the fix saying the warranty did not hold because we banged the camera (did not care that we banged the camera trying to get it to work.) I refused because I am not going to throw another $120 out the window on a camera that can’t even take normal wear and tear. I will never buy another Nikon camera again and will stick with my iPhone.

I have had several digital cameras. For the price this one has more features and does a great job of rapid focus. Down loading is also a breeze.

The Nikon Coolpix S7000 is a solid little camera with some nice features (WiFi) and takes great pictures. Highly recommend!

I bought this last year to give a fair evaluation. Most worrisome is the display on the back, rubs (soft scratches) so easily. I only put it in my shirt pocket like my previous camera. That one the screen looks brand new, this one the pics can't be seen in sunlight, they're blurry. The auto focus has a tendency not to. The zoom is great, the pictures above average the features o.k. But that soft glass? back display is the reason i won't recommend this camera to anyone.

I was told by a employee that this was a great camera. I wanted a new small camera to take to Disney. It takes 10-20 seconds to process some photos. Especially low light photos. There are several occasions were it will focus then unfocused and not allow the shot. The pictures come out great when you can get it to work. I may need more practice using the camera, but if that is the class it is not a very user friendly.

Great camera for average person, point and shoot. Would like the battery to last a little longer most days.

Bought this camera before a trip to Vegas. The camera was perfect and the wifi function is awesome for taking group photos.

I was excited to buy this camera, but I am very disappointed. It takes too long to take a picture with zoom and it's not able to focus. Unfortunately, I have to return it. Not recommended.

Great Pictures from reasonable priced point and shoot comera

The camera takes good pictures and has good effects on the camera. The video on the other hand could be better and you can definitely see when someone does not have a steady hand.

I had two of these cameras. The first one I sent to Precision Camera to repair because of black shadows on the pictures. They returned it , saying they had repaired it, but it still had black shadows on the pictures. So I returned the camera for another one, and I had the exact same problem with black shadows on the pictures!!!! So I had to return it again for a totally different camera!

After using less than a month camera was failing to focus in on objects more than 8 ft away. Disappointed in performance. Not sure what happened to it, but just stopped focusing.

I first used this camera on a vacation trip and it performed fine. When home after the trip I found that it would no hold a batter charge. Went to Radio Shack and purchased a new battery thinking that might be the problem, but that didn't work. Still under warranty, I returned the camera to Nikon authorized repair shop. They said they repaired the camera. I tried to charge the camera when it was returned to me but it still doesn't charge. Since then, then my internet search on this camera disclosed other owners with trouble charging the battery on this camera. I'm giving up and will never purchase another Nikon product.

I can live without the touch screen or manual controls. But cmon man, the wifi photo download application will only work with an android device!! Are you kidding me Nikon??? That's nuts. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA IF YOU USE AN IOS DEVICE!
