Is one of the best camera available for beginners I do really love the portraits with this camera

I got this camera for my wife for Christmas and she loves it! She did research on it and found that this camera had a few more other options than some others at almost the same price. Unfortunately the camera doesn't have Wi-Fi, but it does have Bluetooth LE connectivity for transferring images from the camera to a smart phone via the 'SnapBridge' app. She is still learning about all the options but she is very happy with it! Plus it came in her favorite color red!

Purchased for my son. It was a good purchase he was very happy with it and it takes really nice pics.

I love my new camera but I wish Nikon would make a functional app for my Galaxy S8 to transfer pics to phone.

Although seems a bit flimsy, it gets the job done. I guess with most cameras, buying extra protection is a must.

This is my first venture into a digital DSLR. My point and shoot was just not doing the job anymore. I previously also had a film SLR camera which I loved and was a great camera with excellent results. I'm hoping my pictures will be as successful with the digital camera.

My wife got back into photography after 10 years or so. She used to be a Canon teammate, but loves this camera.

My husband has gotten very into photography with this Nikon D500. I am new to DSLR cameras and found it difficult to navigate his camera. We purchased the D3400 and I absolutely love it. We really enjoy sharing the lenses as they are compatible with both of our cameras.

Exceeded expectations! Very nice camera! The Snapbridge software is a litter flaky but, the camera is great!

This camera is great for learning. The pictures are very good quality especially for someone just learning.

To start off, I did research cameras and their quality ratings before buying this camera. I have a basic hobbyist understanding of optics and photography which helped with picking a camera. Ultimately, this camera is worth more than they price it. Between the sensor size and the features of the camera, it is a great purchase for beginners and people who want a good camera but aren’t interested in paying too much money.

Good camera. Not going to perform with the big boys but pretty much beats everything in that $500 range
