This camera is great for beginners. He is also able to use lens from my older Nikons in manual mode.

Got this for my daughter. She is loving the low light function and the built in tutorial that comes with it. It also immediately sends the pics to her phone and computer so she can use them right away. This brought absolute delight to my budding photographer!!!

I thought when I upgraded from the d3300 that I would still be able to take pictures using my cellphone as a viewer ( with adapter which came with my bundle), you can not. I was told to purchase a remote to take group pictures or selfies. Also I recommend buying a warranty , my one year old dropped my d3300 and bestbuy found it more cost effective to junk it than repair it. The d3400 is just as good minus one of my favorite functions.

This camera has lots of extras and is Wifi capable. I have enjoyed the picture quality from this camera.

It’s a good buy just need to learn the features n learn what it can do. It’s not a buy n go camera it’s my wife first perfesonal camera

I had been watching this specific camera for several months and when I saw this camera bundled with some extras I could no longer pass up on it. I bought it for my wife who has aspired to take nice photographs and this is great! She loves it!

Took a lot of pictures recently while on vacation, landscape as well as close range. All turned out really well, including 50mm and up to 300 mm zoom lenses. Most of the time used the auto settings and most all were in focus and clear.

Good quality camera with high quality photos but a little difficult to keep lenses etc clean

This was a bday gift for my son a budding photographer. He absolutely loves the camera. He also uses some of my lens from my older Nikons to enhance his photo capturing skills. Smooth transition to his iPhone. It's the best starter camera.

This is an excellent camera all around. Has everything you would want from total manual to program mode and everything in between. I have been shooting pictures for thirty years and find this camera an excellent additional to my Nikon equipment.

I bought this camera as a college graduation gift for my daughter. She has enjoyed using it for all varieties of shots. The photos are great quality. She is an amateur photographer who has a Facebook photo page set up for viewing by the public. She has had some business opportunities to do photo shoots and hopes for more in the future. This camera and extra lens should be an asset in attracting more interest in her work.
