I bought the camera for my college aged daughter. She uses it to photograph sporting events as well as random pics around campus and nature shots while walking in the nearby state parks. The two lenses make it perfect for every scenario

It's been awhile since I've had an adequate camera. I wish I could memorize all the features it has more quickly. The lens does not zoom in as much as I would like, and taking low light photos are still difficult for me to do.

Great camera for both experienced users and beginners. Great pictures and battery life...

I am learning so much every day I use my camera and gets more fun each time I use it!! I love that it will transfer over the photos via Wi-Fi to my phone after I am done taking them!! That is a HUGE PLUS!!!!!

This camera has many features that I still need to learn but it’s great for beginners

Came with bag and two lenses. Seems like a good camera and lenses but just didn’t utilize or practice with camera. Prefer more of a quick snap camera. Got it for the wife but she didn’t use it very often because of size and need to set up pictures. Good camera if you want to take the time to learn and carry it around.

I ended up returning the camera fro a few reasons, I hated the way it felt in the hand it was too light and felt like a toy and the user interface was difficult to learn. My viewpoints on the camera are subjective to me and everyone is not the same its a good beginner DSLR

This was for my daughter interested in beginning photography. With the purchase of a Nikon bag she received a basic class that showed her how to use the camera. Since then she has learned other functions and she loves the shutter speed

I've wanted the d3300 for awhile so bought the d3400 when finances made it possible. I didn't realize the d3400 does not have the jack for an external Mike. Then the pict bridge only allows 2 meg uploads. To use the full resolution requires either and optional cable (not included) or direct transfer from the memory card. I've never seen something removed from an update like this I'm somewhat disappointed
