This camera is easy to use and takes clear, quality pictures. It’s comes with directions that are helpful for those who need help. Many of the functions I was familiar with because I had a point and shoot digital Nikon a few years back. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to take a step up from the small point and shoot cameras and looking for a better quality picture.

I’m an amateur DSLR user and this is my first time using and purchasing one. For the price, it’s an amazing piece of kit. It has tutorials on the camera to help you with different types of photos, along with being able to do manual or auto, I am still on auto right now but it’s information means I can learn how to set my own features. It’s easy to use, light, and not too bulky. Would recommend

Great camera for anyone. Has simple settings for the inexperienced or can be by-passed for the experienced photographer. The battery life is awesome. Picture quality under various lighting conditions is handled very well. A true professional will look to another model or brand, but this one offers more than just an entry-level model at a nice price-point. You won't be disappointed.

I would highly recommend this digital camera for those looking for a professional quality with little photography experience. We bought it at BB for our trip to Mt. Rushmore and YellowStone, we took almost 1000 photos, easy to use and plenty of tutorials on YouTube

Great for the expert and the novice. Takes great point and shoot photos. Can take macro as well as long distance close up shots. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is my first purchase of a DSLR Camera and big spend for camera at that. I bought it so I could use it for my business to better take pictures for social media and videos as well. So far I love it and the different modes/functions are awesome to learn to crete your own look. The only downside I can think of which I don't remember reading is that there is NO plug in for the MIC. Only the previous model or the more expensive model has the mic jack. Perfect camera for a beginner like me though and if you are just starting out I'd say its a steal especially with the $400 savings!

Just purchased it and haven't had much time to use it. It could be used by a beginner because it can be used in the fully automatic mode, but why spend the extra money for all the extra bells and whistles if you aren't going to use them. For the intermediate user, the camera would be great because of it's auto function as well as manual settings you might need for certain photos. Although it will take video, I wouldn't recommend it for serious videography. I think it was a great buy for the price. I have been a long time fan of Nikon and hoping this camera will not disappoint.

Received as a Christmas gift and absolutely love it. great picture quality and one you set up Bluetooth to your phone the pictures show up on your phone.

I really like the fact that this camera has a setting for beginners. You can switch between fully pro setting and point and shoot setting for ease of use.

I have taken photos of two listings so far with this camera and they have come our great with very minor editing. I could (and did in the past) subcontract the photos out, but I really enjoy the creative part of real estate, not just the transaction. Getting this camera has added a whole other facet to my career. Very easy to use, and it was such a great value with the added bag!

Bought this camera for my daughter who needed a DSLR for her high school photography class. She loves using it, and continues to learn about the features. She uses the Bluetooth connection to her iPhone to save lower res items to her camera roll. Also fell in love with the red/maroon color, which was hard to find. Got a free Nikon camera bag too with the purchase!

I received this camera last year for my birthday. I have used it for nature, on vacation and for family events. there was a learning curve for me. The programs that Nikon sends with the camera are very easy to use. The Snapbridge uploads right to my phone. i can then share or save to my computer. Very easy! I am amazed at the pictures on my computer.. Just a great camera!

This is my 3rd Nikon camera that I've gotten for my wife and it creates the sharpest pictures yet and the price was also the best including the two lens package. The only neat I've was I saw the ads for the case and DVD and the GC for shutter fly but could not get Best Buy to honor this. Still love the camEra
