looked for entry level SLR - this fits the bill, especially when on sale near holidays and black Friday weekend; was able to purchase online and avoid the crowds.

Bought these as a gift and worth every penny. Very nice cameras purchased on sale making them a great bargain for the quality. Will use for vacations and fun.

I got this to replace my old DSLR camera. It is very easy to use and takes great photos. It came with a 20 minute online class that taught me how to use some of the features better. I used it to take pictures of my son's baseball game and got some great shots, even though the kids were moving.

Great level of performance and image quality. My first outing with the camera was in Vallarta and the photos taken there were crisp and clear.

Definitely a better product in this price. For overall performance other accessories are required.

Replacing a Sony that I dropped, and could not replace for twice what I originally paid for it. Should have gotten the Nikon in the first place. While I would prefer one of the lenses to be a 'standard' (fixed focal length like 35mm), this was a good price. Even Amazon couldn't beat it.
