Great for the intermediate photographer

The snapbridge feature makes it easy to transfer photos to your smartphone. (If you are using 'raw' mode only this feature will ask for more bandwidth so jpegs are best. Overall same feel as the d3100 but lighter.I liked the bundled lenses. I've used Nikons for 30 years and was surprised that the new lenses didn't use the 52mm format so I had to invest in two new sizes of filters.

Easy to use entry DSLR

Plus with the quality of Nikon, your pictures will be better than you've experienced in the past. Only negative is the size. Larger hands may have a harder time comfortably grasping it.
