A wonderful camera for the wildlife enthusiast. Definitely not for the beginner though. Hopefully it will get easier to use with more use.

This camera is the best dx format camera Nikon has ever offered. Great low light capabilities. Focus system is fast and tack sharp. CH setting is lightning fast and the focus system will keep up. The 20 mp is a great size. Not too small and not too large. If you would like the best bang for your buck this is a first tier contender. The Snapbridge soft is not very easy to use and the documentation for it could be vastly improved.

I’ve had this camera for a little over 8 months and it has quickly become a favorite for me! The pictures are so so crisp and has absolutely become my power horse!

We take approx. 1500 pics every weekend for sons college football games. Camera has great features and quality of oictures are amazing.

This is my 5th Nikon. As far as I'm concerned the cameras and lenses are first class above the others. Upgraded from the D300 to the d500 and I'm totally satisfied

A very solid camera with all the capabilities and functions needed. I'm satisfied with this one. A major reason to go with this DX-type DSLR was that I had a few Nikkor lenses. Warn you that you need an external flashlight if you intend to take photos at night. Now the advent of Nikon's mirrorless, I wonder if my purchase was best for me (as a Nikon newbie).

Love this camera! It nicely compliments my D850. Very convenient that the controls are the same.

This has to be the best DSLR I've ever owned. The features available are just amazing. I've shot Softball games and captured amazing action shots!
