This is a great camera. I love the tiltable screen which makes it easy to take the high or lower shots. Also the touch screen is a added advantage for zooming instead of pressing the buttons. The pictures are crisp and I love them.

This is the DSLR camera to get. I love the touch screen feature, as it makes it much easier to change the camera settings. I recommend purchasing the 35 mm Nikon lense for this camera if you're into landscape photography.

I was extremely unsure of which camera to buy at first before I found this. I used this with a 50mm f1.8 lens and loved it. The no-flash auto setting also takes great shots and the articulating touch screen is my favorite!

Not exactly for beginners, which I am but very user friendly. Takes some time getting use too with all the bells and whistles. The best feature of this camera is the built in Wifi- a must have and is often used. Photo Diva

I've used Nikons since I began in photography. The quality of the build is appealing to me, and my prior investment in Nikon Glass influences my decisions. I expect the camera to perform as expected, but I have grown to distrust the Nikkor lenses that come on these cameras. I have three zoom lenses sitting on top of a shelf that no longer function. Veyr disappointing when you consider I have Nikkor lenses from the 1950s that still perform. My advice unless this camera lens combo is just to be used for casual photography, I would upgrade the lens at the first opportunity. I have not used any of the trinity lenses on the body but I expect the difference will be signifigant. I have several 80-200 2.8 dating back to the 90s and may stick one of these on the body.

I'm very happy with my new Nikon D5500. The quality is great.
