Replaced aging D70
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, coming from a very old Nikon D70. Um, yeah, this is a very huge upgrade for me. It works well, took to the airshow and came away with some very nice photos. I'm not a PRO, but not an point and shoot type either. I don't use the automatic modes. All my current lens systems work except for 1 and it's really, really old anyway. I should have bought this earlier. :)

Awesome camera

Fine camera

After our review, we visited Bestbuy and had hands on reviews of the cameras. As a result, the Nikon still stood above the others. Easy to handle was my wife's primary concern. We purchased the camera and my wife has been extremely happy.
